Thank you all for your prayers for Emma's family during this time. Her memorial service is scheduled to be held at Liberty Baptist Church on Saturday, 10/29 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.
Emma Albritton was a much-loved member of our church. Her sudden departure is, from man’s perspective, a tragic loss. As devastating as it is, however, we “sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”
The reason of the hope that is in us is this: at a young age, Emma trusted in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as her only way of salvation as declared by the Bible. She knew with certainty that when her time came to pass from this earth, she would pass into the presence of her Savior.
We will continue to grieve with and to pray for her family and friends; and we find comfort that she is, in the words of the Apostle Paul, “absent from the body, and...present with the Lord.”
I loved her sweet spirit and her warm personality! Certainly will miss her! 💔
